May-Visit to Idaho

Just had to throw in a picture of my happy girl.

So as the end of the semester approached aunt Kara came up to help with the kids.

Dave made a run up with the Truck while Kara was there and at the last minute we decided to send Tucker back with Dave since Kara and I would be down in a couple of days. I took these pictures off of Julie's blog. it looks like they had fun... but wow, I sure missed my little boy.

Tucker and Owen love to take baths together

Brothers and Cousins.

After I finihsed working my shifts at the hospital. Kara, Kimber and I drove down to Pocatello. I was really glad that Tucker wasn't with us because Kimber was about all we could handle for the 11 hour ride. We left Dusty in Washington so he could finish up finals kid free.

Although we had been having warm weather in Washington. It was still a little chilly in south east Idaho. So we had to bundle up the kids to go out. I didn't think to bring Kimber cold weather clothes so we made do.

And I'm glad we did because to date I think that these are the cutes pictures I have of her yet.

So Nanna took us down to the park for the afternoon. It actually rained on us a little bit, but that didn't stop Tucker.

After all there was work to be done.

Tucker ran back and forth accross this bridge a million times.

Turning around to run on the bridge some more.

Kimber wans't really interested in the park

Tucker had lot's of fun on the toys but when we were about to leave Tucker found something even more exciting.
TRACTORS! ! !

Big tractors. They had shut down for the evening but they were working on some construction on the other side of the park.... BUT WHO CARES. In Tucker's mind someone had placed them there just for him.

Notice he is wearing at C.A.T sweater

He is such a little stud.

After we were done with the Tractors. Tucker helped Nanna push Kimber back to the car.

Tucker mugged the cat when we got home.

And Kimber woke up. Kimber and I are alot alike. We like to be warm

April-Summer is here

So, Summer weather finally came. Dusty and I were eager to eat the steaks that were sitting in our freezer all winter... and because pan frying a rib eye is almost a sin... we went and got a grill. And immediatly tested it out.
Kimber in the grass while dad is cooking and mom is taking pictures. Kimber hates the feeling of grass, so dad put her on a towel

Our new grill and the boys hard at work

the towel didn't work for kimber, she could still touch the grass so we had to move her to her chair. Tucker was facinated by the grill.

Kimber worked hard on being cute.

She liked the chair much better than the grass.

Steak, pepper and onions. Thanks for cooking Dusty

April-Vet Med open house

Vet Med Open House.
April 10 2010
I had to work the night before the Vet Med open house so Dusty took the kids early in the morning to the open house so that I could sleep. He came back around 2p.m. and I was awake and told me all about their adventures:
#1 The vet students let Tucker gown up for "surgery" and do an operation on some Jello.
#2 There was a fire truck out for display (I'm not sure why) so they went to look at the fire truck, and when it was time for the fire truck to move to a different location on campus they let Tucker, Dusty and Kimber come along for the ride (Tucker got to see the fire dog too)
#3 on the way back from the Open house they drove past the cattle enclosure on campus and stopped to look at the cows. There was a big to do going on there I guess and when it was time for lunch they invited Tucker, Dusty, and Kimber to join them for steak and potatoes.
Well then they came and woke me up. the adventures we had in the afternoon at the open house weren't nearly as exciting but I took some pics.

All the Vet students know Tucker. So of course Tucker got to do things other kids didn't get to do. like get in all the pens with the animals.

They always have the palpation animals painted and on display for people to see. this is a picture of the palpation horse. I'm pretty sure the pink paint represents the lungs but I don't know what the other colors are.

And this is the palpation cow. Tucker was feeding hay... and making the Vet student in green behind him very nervous

But dad wasn't nervous.... Tucker is pretty good around cows.

And here is Tucker trying to get into the miniature horse enclosure.

He then ran around the outside of the enclosure tossing in all the hay that had escaped so that the horses wouldn't get hungry.

Then Tucker had to sit down and rest and eat his candy. He is such a ham.

We had lot's of fun... and we will probably go again next year.

April-Kimber and food

So we introduced Kimber to rice cereal on April 22nd. She had been eyeing our food at dinner times for a long time but given the fact that #1 she didn't (and doesn't) have any teeth and #2 the Dr. asked us to hold off on solid foods as much as possible to help her weight gain- we started intruducing 1 meal a day at 5 months old
Kimber was really excited.

And took heaping spoon full after spoon full.

I was really suprised at how neat and clean she was about things. Tucker always made a huge mess.
but for the most part we got everything in her mouth.

I made about 1/2 cup worth of cereal..... she ate the whole thing. And then took a 6 ounce bottle.
This girl can eat!

Tucker was so excited to watch Kimber eat. He was in the background the whole time cheering me and her on. He needed to be in a picture too. "Good Job Kimmer... Bobby giver another bite!"

Visit from the Reids

Carson, Julie, Owen and Edgar returned to south East Idaho this afternoon. It was nice to have them visit. We had and "un-birthday" for Edgar and Tucker (Edgar 1 as of Friday the 6th and Tucker 3 as of Friday the 13th). Tucker was so excited for his birthday. He got some really FUN stuff. Dusty was finally able to give Tucker the backhoe we bought a few months ago. I'm surprized that Dusty made it to the birthday party, he has been so excited. Owen got his backhoe too, I hope both boys are able to enjoy them.
We also went to Spokane while the crew was up. We visited Riverside park again. It's a really neat park, I guess the world fair was once held there and there is still a small fair/amusment park there today. We just played in the fountain and rode the carossel. We dashed over to Sacred Heart Medical Center for Kimber's final visit... she's doing great... she is still little but she is staying on the growth curve and she grew 1 and 1/2 inches since her last visit. We are supposed to encouraged Kimber to drink more formula and eat less "big people food" (they were a little suprized when they asked what she had eaten in the past 24 hours: Bottle, dry froot-loops, bottle, 1/4 tuna fish sandwich, bottle, chicken-rice(wackadoo chicken), bottle).
Kimber has become such and active little baby, she is always moving, She is getting a little frustrated that she can't do everything she wants... like get out the front door.
Well, love to all... will try to post picture tomorrow when I get home (and after I take a nap)

Slacker

Ok, so blogger changed how you upload pictures to your blog and I am having a hard time with it. I promise I will take sometime to learn how and update my blog soon. I have SO many pictures to share.
Dusty is now finished with his first year of Vet school! YAY! My sister Kara came up to watch the kids for the week before finals because I had to work and Dusty needed to study. THANKS Kara... that was a huge help. Then the last four days of finals Kara, the kids and I headed off to Pocatello to leave Dusty to his studies (he said he missed us but it made it alot easier to study). we spent a few days in Pocatello with my family before heading up to Ashton... we picked Dusty up in Idaho Falls along the way (he caught a plane to South East Idaho). We spent a few days in Ashton before comeing back to Idaho Falls to spend some time with Bam Bal. Pictures to follow I promise... I've got lots.
Now we are back home and have to get back to reality. Dusty started work today. Kimber has her Dr. appointment tomorrow and I start work again on Wednesday... and to top if off I think Tucker has an ear infection again... poor kid... I don't know what to do for him.
Well it was good to see everyone in South East Idaho.... and we will miss you.

Easter Morning

Happy Easter. What a wonderful Easter morning we have had at our house. Tucker was very excited that the Easter bunny came and brought him candy, ABC flash cards, side walk chalk and a bubble wand. It was fun to see his excitement. Kimber got rice cereal and she was thrilled (she doesn't like to eat it yet though).

Kimber's Easter basket

Tucker's Easter basket.... He had to look for most of his stuff.

Kimber protecting her stash of Candy that I'm sure Dad will get to later.

Tucker adding his ABC cards to his basket.

Bubble wand! I love my family.... Isn't that man handsome!

Candy and Eggs on the piano

FUN WITH EASTER BREAKFAST!

The bunny was my first try at FUN pancakes, the Duck was my second.

Tucker chose the Duck for his Easter breakfast.

Dusty got a rabbit.

And Kimber got a baby chick.... doesn't she look excited about her pancake.

The rest of the morning was spent watching conference.
I love the Savior and am so grateful for His sacrifice.
Happy Easter

Peek-A-Boo

Kimber was sitting in her chair during conference this morning. She was wiggling and her blanket started to cover up her face... she didn't get mad so I let it go for another moment. When I looked again she had completely covered herself in the blankets. She HATES having her face covered and usually starts screaming.... But she didn't. I went to see what was up.

I peaked inside the blanket and she gave me a mischievous little look and laughed!

So I hid her face with the blanket again and pulled it back again. She laughed and buried her face in the blanket.

Coloring Eggs

We have been talking a lot about the Easter bunny with Tucker. Holidays are a lot more fun when your kids are excited about them. Although I do have to say it take a LOT of work. Today the Easter Bunny went shopping... Since Tucker was there the Easter bunny had to be sneaky. When we got home Tucker could hardly wait to dye eggs, it was torture for him to have to wait for the eggs to boil.

I am trying to assist one handed... Kimber is in the other. Dusty is dressed for priesthood session and snapping a few pictures before he heads out the door.

We only ended up with 3 cracked eggs due to dropping... that's 25%, not too bad.

Tucker was constantly repositioning the eggs.

The kit we bought had faces for the eggs so Tucker had fun pairing the eyes with the smiles, a few of the smiles are upside down so the eggs look scared. I like it... gives more variety.

And in true Tucker fashion... a gait around the eggs

Happy Easter ! ! !
(I'm sure there will be more Easter pictures to come)

Surgery

Tucker was running back and forth between the kitchen and behind the barn with all sorts of items. I went to investigate and I found.....

He was setting up his surgical table

Tucker performing surgery... Where does he come up with this stuff. Lately he runs all over the house saying "I have idea"

Dr. Clark did take a break from performing surgery to rest in a pile of warm laundry... I mean who can resist a basket of laundry fresh from the dryer.
