August- Tucker's Birthday (the best part)

So Tucker told us that he wanted to get a backhoe for his birthday. Well we looked and looked, come to find out Owen had wanted a Backhoe for Christmas last year and Julie and Carson had also looked and looked. Well Dusty did some research and found out that they stopped making backhoes in the 1:16 th size back in the year 2000 and that they have since become a collectors item.

Well that doesn't stop Dusty. He kept looking and he finally found one on e-bay. After bidding probably wat too much on it we won the backhoe off e-bay. It came to our house back in June. I carefully took it out of the box and cleaned all the Dust off (aftter all it was at least 10 years old still in the box... there was alot of dust). Then we put is back in the box and put it out in the shed until Tucker's birthday... I was amazed Dusty could contain himself till Tucker's unbirthday. He was so excited.

And so was Tucker when:

"It's a Backhoe!"

Both of the boys were excited!

And also very serious... Backhoes are a VERY serious matter.

Tucker immediatly started loading some of the round bales he had gotten from Grandpa Clark

Owen had wanted a backhoe for Christmas... and he really wanted to play with Tuckers. So we had to remind him that it was TUCKERs backhoe.

What is it? ? ? ? ?

THIS is OWENs Backhoe ! ! ! ! !

Another Backhoe went up for sale after we had gotten Tucker's off e-bay.... and after bidding way too much again we were able to get a 2nd backhoe (p.s. Thanks Grandma Raybould for supplmenting the birthday presents)

Owen was excited ! ! !

I think one of the biggest joys you can get out of life is to make others happy.... especially kids because they don't even TRY to hide their emotion.

Two boys..... Two backhoes. Nothing gets any better than that.

Kimber didn't really care much abnout all the backhoe camotion.... she just played with a little bit of everything. We sure love her.
