So we went to the fair again this year. And Dusty had time to come with us :)
The first thing Tucker wanted to see was the animls
Dusty really enjoyed this sign
Kimber thought looking at all of the animals was great. After a while she didn't want to sit in the stroller any more, she wanted to touch all the animals too. Her favorite was a goat... Sorry I don't have a picture of that one.
The mama pig is on the other side of the fence. Tucker was telling everyone we needed to move the baby pigs over to the mama because they were hungry
Yup, we had to abandon the stroller. It was good for carrying the diaper bag I guess. Good thing Kimber isn't very heavy
Tucker more than anything wanted to pet a rabbit. He talked about it for days before we went to the fair. And then for several days after the fair that's what he talked about. ??
Good thing they had one of the bunnies out of the cage for kids to pet, because Tucker was running around from cage to cage trying to stick his fingers through the cages to pet the rabbits, and they would run away. He was getting very discouraged when we saw the bunny on the table.... OH THE JOY of this little boy! Dusty likes to get candy apples when we go to the fair, we all shared. Kimber, however got a hold of that thing and didn't want to give it up for the world.
After it was pretty much gone, I took it from her to throw it away and she started yelling at me.
I gave it back
Tucker and I went on the farriswheel.
And then we found some rides Tucker could go on by himself.
Tucker seemed to be having alot more fun than the kid next to him. They don't buckle kids in on this ride so I had to keep shouting for Tucker to sit down. Good thing they have gaits on the doors.
Tucker was really afraid to go on this jungle jim thing. Dusty talked Tucker into trying it.... and then I think he went on in 6 or 7 times after that. It was his favorite.
Which was odd I thought, becuase it was just like a giant McDonalds play place... Hmmmm?
I didn't think it was all that exciting.... but I'm not 3.
Then Tucker went on the kids rollercoaster. He thought that was fun too.... but then we prompty returned to "the slide" (the jungle jim)
It was kind of fortunate that we went on the last day of the fair, because when Tucker asked if we could go tomorrow I could honestly tell him that it was not possible to go because the fair was gone.
We all enjoyed spending the day as a family.
Oh, and my camera officially died at the fair. So it might be a little while before I post pictures.
